CHILDREN & YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH
How might we create new and reimagined positive well-being solutions that meet citizen need?
The Lab team has been hard at work prototyping and testing solutions. Elements of our ongoing work can be found in the Create Space at the Calgary Central Library until August 31. Pop by over the summer and participate in our work!
On June 27 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, The Social Impact Lab team will be on-hand to engage patrons in our interactive exhibit on Children and Youth Mental Health. Come and meet the team!
A special thank you to DA Branding Inc for helping us bring this exhibit together.
EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT
The Lab has launched a second social issue project specific to childhood poverty. The Lab is pleased to be partnering with the Canadian Poverty Institute to support research and engagement for this new work. Keep an eye out for upcoming workshops to be held over the summer.
Our most recent cohorts of Inspire participants have wrapped up the 12-week program. A special thank you to our guest facilitators Marlies van Dijk (AHS Design Lab), Rochelle Simons (The Social Impact Lab) and Marc Joiner (Deloitte) for bringing their unique expertise to Inspire and demonstrating the power of storytelling and financial modelling.
We are now preparing the next cohorts for September 2019. If you’re interested in new thinking, new growth opportunities, and new customers, we encourage you to apply.
